New: United Way BC’s Kapwa Strong Fund – grant applications open

The Filipino community was shaken by the heartbreaking events at the Lapu Lapu Festival in Vancouver. Lives were lost, families were forever changed, and our hearts are heavy with grief.

“To help those impacted by this devastating event, we have launched United Way BC’s Kapwa Strong Fund. We remain committed to supporting our neighbours and friends beyond the immediate needs; grief and healing take time and United Way BC will walk with Vancouver’s Filipino community for the days, weeks, and months to come.”
