Arts BC

Arts BC is a provincial arts service organization dedicated to providing artists and arts and cultural organizations across British Columbia with the essential tools and professional development opportunities. BC Museums Association

The British Columbia Museums Association (BCMA) supports the professionals and volunteers who work in BC’s cultural sector and we aim to improve the cultural literacy of all British Columbians. The BCMA collaborates with arts, culture, and heritage partners to engage with all levels of government to share stories and make them aware of the true impact our sector has in communities large and small across the province.

British Columbia Music Festival Collective (BCMFC)

The British Columbia Music Festival Collective (BCMFC) is a non-profit industry association formed in April 2020 at the onset of the pandemic to provide a common voice and shared space for BC’s music festival industry. Its members include both non-profit and for-profit festivals of all genres and sizes from across every region of the province. Membership is open to any music festival based in British Columbia.

Federation of Canadian Artists

The Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA), founded in 1941 by renowned Canadian artists including Group of Seven luminaries Lawren Harris, Arthur Lismer, A.Y. Jackson, is a registered charity dedicated to elevating artistic standards across Canada. With chapters nationwide, the FCA operates the Federation Gallery on Granville Island—the country’s first artist-sponsored gallery—and offers robust education programs with workshops, lectures, and critiques. Membership is open to all who value the visual arts.

Gender Equity in Media Society Vancouver (GEMS)

Gender Equity in Media Society Vancouver (GEMS) is a member-based organization committed to furthering gender equity in film and television. Previously named Women in Film and Television Vancouver (WIFTV), GEMS incorporated in 1989 as a not-for-profit society registered in British Columbia. By addressing systemic barriers, GEMS works towards supporting more inclusive, representative media.

Greater Vancouver Professional Theatre Alliance

Greater Vancouver Professional Theatre Alliance (GVPTA) is a non-profit charitable organization with a membership that includes theatre companies, theatre makers and artists, and other organizations and individuals that support theatre in Metro Vancouver and across the province of BC. GVPTA offers professional development, promotional, and community-building opportunities in order to raise the profile of theatre and strengthen the local theatre industry.
