This session drew on Artworks: The Economic and Social Dividends from Canada’s Arts and Culture Sector and provided a first look at the Arts Vibrancy Index, a first-of-its-kind measure examining how arts and culture contribute to economic performance and community vitality across 22 Canadian Census Metropolitan Areas.

Speakers shared key insights from the research and explore practical ways arts organizations can use these findings to guide planning, strengthen advocacy, and demonstrate the value of arts and culture across Canada.
