Program Summary:
The Paul Yard Emerging Artist Grant, named in memory of beloved longtime show manager Paul Yard, empowers emerging artisans to share their craft and awards them with opportunities for wide exposure. All previously submitted Emerging Artist applications will be automatically entered to win.
Show Dates: November 11-15, 2026
Winner must be available for the full show.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUBMIT:
- 4–10 product photos (JPG, JPEG, or PNG)
- 1 photo of you working in your studio (JPG, JPEG, or PNG)
- 1 photo of your workshop (JPG, JPEG, or PNG)
- Artisan resumé or CV (PDF or Word Doc)
- Artist statement and statement of production (PDF or Word Doc)
Grant Value:
- One FREE Emerging Artist Booth
- 3′ x 3′, open on all sides
- Valued at $650+
- Electrical & carpet included
- Media exposure, PR opportunities, and on-site highlight of your booth
Eligible Applicants:
Contest open to all legal residents of British Columbia. Artists must identify as ‘emerging’ by having no more than 5 years in their field and no previous participation in the Circle Craft Holiday Market. The winner must be available to participate in the entire show from Wednesday, November 11 to Sunday, November 15, 2026.
