Professional mentorship is the cornerstone of building expertise in our sector, nurturing skill development for our future cultural leaders and innovators.
And there are a wide variety of mentorship opportunities available these days, for both emerging/early career and established artists or cultural workers, from every discipline. These flexible grant programs & funding sources are offered by both traditional funding agencies (such as the Canada Council, BC Arts Council or the City of Vancouver), as well as our colleagues and sector leaders such as PACT, VIFF, the Fringe, PTC, ISO, ImagineNATIVE, First Peoples’ Cultural Council, Writers Trust of Canada, Women in Music Canada…and many others.
