The Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA), founded in 1941 by renowned Canadian artists including Group of Seven luminaries Lawren Harris, Arthur Lismer, A.Y. Jackson, is a registered charity dedicated to elevating artistic standards across Canada. With chapters nationwide, the FCA operates the Federation Gallery on Granville Island—the country’s first artist-sponsored gallery—and offers robust education programs with workshops, lectures, and critiques. Membership is open to all who value the visual arts.
